ECOWASHBAL is an environmentally friendly laundry product. The ECOWASBAL acts as a detergent with it's small ceramic pellets that lift dirt from fibres, allowing you to use 80% less washing detergent.
The ball lasts 1000 washes (3-4 years on average), the plastic ball is recycable & the pellets are envionmentally safe. It can be used in top and front loaders, with or without small amounts of washing powder or laundry liquid.

This is a Fair Trade community project, set up in a subsistence farming area in South Africa, where the unemployment rate is 80%. This project has allowed people to gain employment and become skilled in beadwork, basketwork and sewing techniques

Ndebele Dolls

Over 70 Ndebele women from very poor economic circumstances earn an independent income from this project. They live mostly in remote areas with few job opportunities. Their social structure is patriarchal and females have a very limited status within the community. The Ndebele women producing this beadwork, work individually from their homes in KwaNdebele and are able to care for their children and retain their traditional lifestyles.
