Mahboba's Promise Jewellery

Mahboba's Promise brings hope for a secure future to widows and orhpans devastated by three decades of war. It is an Australian, non-government organisation working in Afghanistan, formed in 1998 by Mahboba Rawi. Through Mahbobas Promise, widows are given the opportunity for employment, and from this work the organisation is funding schools for girls and boys, teaching widows and orhpans computer skills, providing clean water, a health care clinic and help poverty stricken families with practical support. The jewellery is traditional Afghani silver work with semi-precious stones, including lapis, turquoise and onyx rings, bracelets and necklaces.
Our donation box for gift wrapping currently supports this organisation.
Mahboba's Promise depends upon the generosity and support of the Australian public. For more information you can visit their website mahboba@mahbobaspromise.org
